Long-Term  Part Time Nanny

Location: Lakewood, CA
Start Date: Mid-July 2025
Commitment: Minimum 1 year
Compensation: $25–$30/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Description:
This is a long-term role with a family seeking a trustworthy and experienced nanny for their newborn starting mid-July. The position begins part-time while the mother is still home and gradually transitions to full-time as both parents return to work. Grandparents are also present and involved in the baby’s care, and the nanny should be open to working in a cooperative, team-based household.

Responsibilities:

  • Full care of infant including feeding, diapering, and developmental play
  • Supporting the transition from part-time to full-time care
  • Light baby-related housekeeping (laundry, bottles, nursery upkeep)

  • Communicating effectively with parents and grandparents

Qualifications:
  • Recent newborn care experience strongly preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Experience with preemies and colic preferred
  • Must be comfortable with cats (home has 2)
  • Own, reliable transportation (no driving during the job required)
  • Provide 3-5 professional references

  • Must have U.S. work authorization
