Full-Time Live-In or Live-Out Nanny / Household Manager

Location: Poultney, VT

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 50 hours a week guaranteed

About the Family:

Seeking a full-time live-in or live-out nanny for a vibrant, multicultural, entrepreneurial family with five children (ages 12, 10, 8, 6, and 1). The ideal candidate is energetic, adventurous, and health-conscious, with a passion for the outdoors. Strong organizational and communication skills, a positive and upbeat personality, a can-do attitude, and a great sense of humor are essential. Must thrive in a dynamic environment and be available to travel with the family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide loving, attentive care for a 1-year-old, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment

• Support older children with routines, schedules, and positive discipline

• Coordinate extracurriculars, playdates, and social events in collaboration with our family assistant and part-time driver

• Assist with meal planning, snack preparation, and ensuring children’s nutritional needs are met

• Perform light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, room tidying, toy organization)

• Maintain household organization, including tracking supplies and placing online orders

• Encourage independence, manners, and responsibility in each child’s daily life

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare or nanny experience

• Infant and school-age experience required

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must have U.S. work authorization

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

• Able to provide 3–5 professional references

• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required

• Excellent communication and time-management skills

• Upbeat, health-conscious, and comfortable in an active, team-oriented household

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hour, based on experience

• Guaranteed Hours: 50 hours/week

• Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: Flexible daytime hours

  • Friday: 10-hour shift

• Vacation: Two weeks paid vacation
