After-School Nanny and Housemanager Needed to Start ASAP!
Our wonderful clients are seeking a reliable and energetic After-School Nanny to join their fun-loving family in Danvers, MA! The family has an 13-year-old boy, an 10-year-old boy (with some sensory sensitivities), and a 5-year-old girl. The parents run their own daycare, so you'll be joining a family passionate about childcare! They also have a friendly small pet, so must be comfortable with dogs.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Pick up children from school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (between 2:30-3:00 PM)
- Transport children to after-school activities and appointments
- Supervise and engage children in activities, homework help, and playtime (both indoors and outdoors)
- Assist with meal preparation (light meals and snacks)
- Light housekeeping tasks (dishes, laundry folding, putting away clothes)
- Maintain a positive and organized environment to promote responsibility in the children
Qualifications:
- Verifiable experience working in childcare (especially school-aged children)
- 3 to 5 professional references
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license (gas reimbursement provided)
- Fun, energetic, and patient personality
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Must be comfortable with a dog
- Must be 18 years old
- Must have proof of legal right to work in the US
Schedule:
- 20 hours per week (flexible):
- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (2:30-6:30 PM)
- Start Date: ASAP
Compensation:
- $27 - $30 per hour (negotiable)
