Full-Time Rotational Nanny (Every Other Week, $80–100K+) – Norfolk, CT
Looking for candidates local to the tri state area.

A warm and dynamic family in Norfolk, CT is seeking a full-time, live-out rotational nanny to care for their toddler 2 ) and  6 year old. This role follows a Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM schedule every other week, rotating with another nanny. The ideal candidate is experienced, flexible, organized, and travel-ready. Must be comfortable with two medium-to-large non-shedding dogs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $30–$35/hour, approximately $80,000–$100,000+ annually, based on experience
  • Paid weekly via family’s payroll service

Schedule:

  • Monday through Sunday, 8 AM–8 PM, every other week
  • Alternating weeks with a second full-time nanny
  • Two weeks on, two weeks off schedule – flexibility emphasized
  • Flexibility available for the right candidate
  • Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive care for both children, including feeding, naps, and daily routines
  • Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities
  • Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, toy and play area tidying)
  • Clean up after meals and snacks prepared for the children
  • Light meal prep for the toddler; bonus if able to prepare meals for the family
  • Coordinate and attend outings or playdates
  • Support the mother and newborn during the day; engage both children in the morning

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years professional childcare experience
  • 3–5 professional childcare references
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be passport-ready and willing to travel frequently, including overseas
  • Valid driver's license (vehicle not provided, potential mileage/gas reimbursement)
  • Regular travel to the family’s second home in New York City
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • Newborn experience required
  • Up-to-date on standard vaccinations (Tdap, Covid, Flu)
  • Comfortable with dogs
  • Highly organized and adaptable to changing schedules
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Bonus if able to swim
  • Ideal candidate is warm, calm, confident with boundaries, and blends seamlessly into a busy household
