Full-Time nanny (Summit, NJ)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Guaranteed Hours - 40 hours

Hourly Rate: $32–$35/hour Payroll

Start Date: Ideally as soon as possible

Commitment: Longterm, ideally two years

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 2 sick days, 2 personal days, 6 paid holidays 

About the Family

A warm and welcoming family based in Summit, NJ with one sweet, engaging 19 month old daughter and a newborn arriving in May. The family is looking for an experienced, nurturing nanny who is excited to grow with our family and become a long-term, valued part of our household team. Someone who is dependable, loving, and enjoys supporting young children through their early developmental stages would be a wonderful fit for our home.

The toddler has a peanut allergy, the nanny must be comfortable managing food allergies.



Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, attentive care for the child in a safe, engaging environment

• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities such as singing, dancing, arts & crafts, reading, and outdoor play

• Prepare healthy meals and snacks (breakfast, lunch, and occasional dinner)

• Manage daily routines, including nap time and developmental play

• Light tidying related to the child’s meals, activities, and play areas

• Maintain awareness of food allergies and follow safety protocols

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced full-time nanny with toddler or preschool experience

• Reliable, engaging, and creative—someone who enjoys music, play, and child development

• Professional, punctual, and comfortable working on payroll

• Seeking a stable, long-term position with a family

• Strong work history with long-term nanny positions and demonstrated longevity in previous roles

  

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle

• Fully vaccinated and maintains yearly flu vaccine

• First Aid and CPR certification

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to pass a standard background check

• Provide professional references

• Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
