Afterschool Nanny Position (Dover, MA)

Start Date: September 1
Location: Dover, MA
Compensation: $30–$35/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–7:00 PM 
Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours/week

Overview:
A warm, established family relocating from Brookline to Dover, MA is seeking a part-time House Manager/Nanny to provide afterschool care for their two elementary-age children beginning September 1st. This is a wonderful opportunity for a candidate who enjoys a blended role, combining hands-on childcare with light household management responsibilities. The family is settling into their new Dover home in mid-August and is looking for a reliable, nurturing caregiver to help establish a smooth afterschool routine from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive afterschool care for two elementary-age children, Monday through Friday
• Manage pickup from school (if applicable) and after-school routines: homework help, snacks, activities
• Light household management duties as needed (family errands, organizing children's schedules/activities, tidying children's spaces)
• Coordinate with parents on daily updates and scheduling
• Support the family's transition and settling-in process as they establish routines in their new home

Requirements:

• Experience working with elementary-age children
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and comfort coordinating with parents on scheduling and routines
• Background check and driving record check required
• Comfortable working with a family new to using a nanny/household staffing agency
