Manager of Wellness Center

The Rescue Mission of Trenton seeks a Manager of Wellness Center to lead and oversee wellness initiatives within the center and beyond. The position will lead our agency to promote the health and wellbeing of our clients and community.
The position, supervised by the Chief of Supportive Services, provides day to day supervision of staff, guides Center operations and planning, and develops community partnership.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Program Development:
- Develop and implement wellness programs to address physical and mental health needs of clients.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center, ensuring quality service delivery.
- Lead, supervise, and support wellness staff.
- Collaborate with community partners and health providers to enhance service offerings.
Client Support:
- Provide guidance and direct care when necessary to ensure clients receive appropriate health and wellness services.
- Develop individualized wellness plans with clients, focusing on their long-term recovery and well-being.
- Monitor client progress and adjust wellness plans as needed.
Administrative and Compliance:
- Ensure all services and programs comply with health and safety standards, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Help manage the Wellness Center budget, including assisting with grant applications, reports, and resource allocation.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on client progress and program success.
- Outreach and Community Engagement
Qualifications For Position
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written
- At least three years relevant experience leading, programming and managing in a community environment..
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in a related mental health discipline OR High school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Proven ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and stay organized
- Strong track record of community engagement and passion for community building
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a comprehensive knowledge of wellness, mental health systems, and community resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills are required
- Experience in making and maintaining positive relationships with individuals who have received mental health and/or substance abuse services
- Professional and caring demeanor in working with individuals with mental illness
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record

Work Hours : 40 hours
Salary Range: $58,500 - $61,500 Plus a Comprehensive Benefit and Training Package
