About the Role

The Human Resources Assistant supports day to day HR operations and helps ensure employees, applicants, and visitors have a welcoming, professional experience. You’ll work closely with the HR Associate and Director of Administration to support recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration.


What You’ll Do

HR Support
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS updates
  • File, scan, and organize confidential documents
  • Track physicals, TB tests, and performance evaluations
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communication
  • Assist with applicant screening
  • Organize the bi-monthly New Hire Welcoming Luncheon Orientation
Employee Engagement
  • Help plan staff events and engagement activities
  • Support internal HR communications
Front Desk & Visitor Support
  • Provide phone coverage and direct inquiries
  • Welcome visitors and manage check ins
  • Distribute radios, ID badges, and receive donations
  • Conduct monthly credential checks for licensed staff

What We’re Looking For
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    OR 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Collaborative, positive, and mission focused mindset

Compensation & Schedule
  • $22.00/hour — Full-time, non exempt
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
