Valley Catholic Elementary School is searching for a full-time Kindergarten Classroom Teacher for the 2025-2026 school-year.

We are looking for candidates who are dynamic and innovative and will complement the experienced and committed staff at our school - one which offers a caring and nurturing environment, promotes academic excellence, and emphasizes the education of the whole child.

Salary Range: $44,290-$63,027 DOE

The compensation package will include full benefits:

Applicants must:
  • Have earned a bachelor’s degree (at minimum)
  • Hold a current Oregon teaching certificate
  • Have previous self-contained classroom teacher experience at the primary level
  • Be a practicing Catholic, as this teacher will teach religion to his/her students

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with grade-level standards
  • Collaborate closely with fellow team members
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with staff, students, and parents to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Meet the diverse needs of individual students
  • Integrate the Catholic faith into daily teaching practice
  • Manage student behavior for the purpose of providing an optimal and safe learning environment
  • Develop and use effective methods of evaluation that are directly related to curriculum objectives and to concepts and skills taught; consistently and effectively evaluate student progress 

 

This is a non-management position
