Skilled Trades Services is hiring 2–3 dependable CNC Machinists/Operators for a long-standing, highly reputable manufacturing company in the Fort Lauderdale area. We specialize in matching skilled trades professionals with exceptional opportunities — and this one is truly a standout.

We’re looking for experienced CNC Machinists/Operators who can set up and run CNC equipment to produce precision metal parts. You’ll be working directly from blueprints and specs, ensuring each part meets exact tolerances and quality requirements.

Experience: 2–3 years preferred
Type: Full-time (temp-to-perm potential)

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines for precision production

• Read and interpret drawings, routers, and blueprints

• Perform basic math and use precision measurement tools (calipers, handheld gauges, etc.)

• Load bar stock, cycle machines, and monitor performance

• Identify worn or damaged tooling and detect machine malfunctions

• Perform inspections and communicate any issues or defective materials

• Complete all required production paperwork

• Troubleshoot and adjust machines as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Assist other departments as needed, including fabrication and set-up

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2–3 years CNC machining or CNC operator experience

• Solid knowledge of CNC equipment, tooling, print reading, M/G Codes

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Works well independently and within a team

• Self-motivated and reliable

• Location: On-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL (must be local or able to commute)

• Transportation: Reliable transportation required
