Skilled Trades Services is currently hiring Pipe Insulator Top Helpers for an upcoming project in Albany, New York starting in approximately two weeks.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience insulating pipe and installing aluminum jacketing who are looking to get on a steady project with a respected contractor.
Position Details:
- Position: Pipe Insulator Top Helper
- Location: Albany, NY
- Start Date: Approximately 2 weeks
- Pay: $20-$21 per hour (based on experience)
- Duration: Project-based with potential for continued work
Responsibilities:
- Assist insulators with installing pipe insulation
- Work with fiberglass and other insulation materials
- Help with aluminum jacketing installation
- Measure, cut, and secure insulation materials
- Maintain a safe and organized jobsite
- Follow direction from foreman and journeyman insulators
Requirements:
- Previous experience insulating pipe required
- Experience installing aluminum jacketing preferred
- Must have basic hand tools
- Ability to work safely on construction sites
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work full-time project hours
