Position Overview
The Corporate Sponsorship & Development Manager drives revenue growth and long-term sustainability for the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance (OMA) by developing and managing corporate sponsorships, private program investments, and grants.
This role builds a diversified portfolio of partners whose financial commitments underwrite events, programs, and strategic initiatives. The Manager identifies prospects, coordinates outreach, supports proposal development, and manages the stewardship and reporting needed to deliver measurable results across sponsorship, private investment, and grant initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who enjoys connecting with business leaders, crafting compelling partnership opportunities, and working cross-functionally to ensure events and sponsorship deliverables are fulfilled. Key Responsibilities
  • Build, refine, and execute OMA’s multi-year strategy for sponsorships and private investments, including target investment areas, priority sectors, and partnership growth pathways.
  • Identify, research, and engage corporate and foundation partners; support proposal development; maintain an active, well-tracked investor pipeline in the CRM.
  • Create, market, and fulfill sponsorship opportunities across OMA events, programs, and digital platforms; steward sponsor relationships and ensure deliverables are met. Manage office operations, budgets, and vendor relationships while enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Plan and execute events with a focus on sponsor integration; coordinate materials, logistics, and partner communication; capture event data and drive follow-up efforts.
  • Produce monthly/quarterly activity reports, maintain updated CRM records, conduct basic ROI analysis, and support retention through timely partner communication.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives, maintain a professional development plan, and stay current on best practices in sponsorship, fundraising, and grants.·

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in sponsorships, fundraising, events, business development, or similar roles.
  • Experience with grants (identification, proposal coordination, reporting) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interest in manufacturing, economic development, or innovation ecosystems is a plus.
