CDTA is seeking a Graphic Designer & Digital Media Specialist. Working at CDTA, you will be a part of a team that provides essential services to the Capital Region. The role is heavily focused on graphic design and visual storytelling, developing creative assets for campaigns, promotions, customer communications, presentations, advertising, and community outreach efforts. Working across a variety of media formats, including digital graphics, photography, video, and audio, the position helps bring CDTA’s brand to life while enhancing engagement and recognition throughout the Capital Region. In addition, the position supports the design, development, and ongoing management of CDTA.org and other assets, as well as all social media channels, to ensure a cohesive, user-friendly, and visually engaging brand experience. Creates visually compelling and brand-aligned content that strengthens awareness of CDTA’s services, initiatives, and community impact across digital, social media, email, web, and traditional marketing channels. This position serves as a key steward of the CDTA brand, ensuring consistent visual identity, messaging, and design standards across all materials.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate design and implementation of company assets – includes traditional elements (posters, flyers, advertisements) along with digital banner ads, social content including photography, videography and editing, and the creation of marketing collateral within brand guidelines for both internal and external audiences
  • Support advertising campaigns including social, email, and traditional marketing channels; generate quarterly reports tracking CTR’s, conversions, impressions, and return on ad spending (ROAS) to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite for posting, monitoring and reporting on organization accounts 
  • Monitor social media across multiple platforms with attention to data-driven insights to improve audience and customer engagement
  • Experience with e-mail platform content creation and distribution
  • Serve as Website quality control monitor, make updates, verify HTML and ensure that all links stay active on web sites and microsites.
  • Create and maintain information-capturing web forms and databases.
  • Assist in design, creation, and execution of mobile applications.
  • Assist in copywriting, editing, and stakeholder outreach. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related fields preferred  
  • 2-4 years marketing and graphic design experience
  • 1-2 years of social media monitoring and copywriting experience 
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and Content Management Software (CMS) 
  • Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, Microsoft Office, and PHP
  • Ability to work under pressure, team-oriented, and have a positive attitude
  • Additional duties as assigned
Salary
Grade 615 ($61,731- $72,842)
