Consolidated Precision Products (CPP), a manufacturer of highly complex aluminum & magnesium aerospace castings is seeking a Process Engineer to join the team at our plant in Bloomington, MN.  

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual that can drive execution in a diverse, challenging environment.  The Process Engineer recommends processes designed to be efficient, cost effective, and to promote quality and reliability.  They will assess the current processes, troubleshoot and make recommendations for improvement.

Major Responsibilities
  • Investigate, identify corrective action, determine effectiveness of action and document any associated changes for technical problems that are identified
  • Develop, coach, and train team members on problem solving tools and revised processes
  • Apply expertise and innovation to address critical issues in the assembly process
  • Writes work instructions and technical reports
  • Manage and coordinate technical input from the foundry, tool shop and machining department into new product developments
  • Provide technical support to Production Supervisors for the manufacture of castings
  • Works well in a collaborative environment to accomplish goals set by supervisor or management

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field
