Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Leadership: Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum and integrate Catholic values. Utilize various teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.

Classroom Management: Establish a respectful and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters positive relationships.

Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Use assessment data to inform instructional practices and differentiate learning experiences.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience and support school-wide initiatives. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities.

Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and school events. Involve families in the learning process and encourage their participation in school activities.

Spiritual Development: Incorporate Catholic teachings into the daily routine and curriculum. Participate in religious activities and promote the school’s mission and values.

Classroom Environment: Create a safe, engaging, and organized classroom that reflects the values of the school and encourages a love for learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
- Valid teaching certification for the state of Indiana.
- Experience in teaching at the elementary level, preferably in a Catholic school setting, is a plus.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a Catholic environment and promoting the values of the Church.
- A strong work ethic and a high value of teamwork are desirable.
