PRIMARY PURPOSE:Coordinate receiving and shipping of all materials (packaging, raw and finished goods), inventory control and provide status to customers for shipping times and product availability.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Coordinate the unloading/loading of trucks with the warehouse personnel. Schedules and monitors the unloading/loading sequence of raw and finished goods product according to truck arrival.
- Verifies entries and amounts of product received and enters the amounts of product information into the NAV system accurately and in a timely basis.
- Coordinates receiving data with Harvest, Shipping, Receiving and Sales Department personnel.
- Prepares paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Resolve issues with appropriate personnel.
- Verify accuracy for all shipments.
- Maintain CHEP/RPC inventory.
- Answer Phones.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. and preferably one (1) year of work experience as a dispatcher in a produce/agriculture company. Knowledge of customer requirements, loading systems, and inventory systems is a must.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Must be able to read and write legibly in English with above average verbal and written communication skills. Must be able communicate with sales representatives, customers, truckers, vendors etc. Must be computer literate and be able to operate basic office machines.
Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Driver’s License
First Aid Certificate/CPR Training (Company will train)
Must be able to work rotating schedules and extended hours and have the ability to work independently. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Excellent people/problem solving skills is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and 36 degree cold room temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
