Qualifications For Position
Education: High School degree required, Bilingual a Must
Skills and Abilities: Active learning and listening, monitoring, speaking, and instructing
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities
1. Client Interaction: Greeting clients, assessing their needs, and ensuring families receive the
necessary food items with respect and confidentiality.
2. Food Distribution: Stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and assisting clients with their selections
3. Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of food donations, purchases, distributions,
tracking expiration dates, rotating stock and ordering supplies.
4. Community Outreach: Connecting with local business, community groups, and individuals to solicit
food donations, volunteer support.
5. Administrative: Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and submitting data for reports

Safety
- Immediately reports any unsafe condition, equipment failure or other problems to the Director of Emergency Shelter.
- Ensures that the food pantry and food storage areas are maintained in a safe, clean and organized manner
- Drives Rescue Mission vehicles to pick up donations, orders, and delivers food as directed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Hourly Rate: $19.78 plus additional $1 per hours worked paid out quarterly
