Lead Engineer - Radar Systems (Dahlgren, VA)

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Potomac River Test Range (PRTR) contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's non-explosive open air and indoor test, evaluation, and experimentation for the Test and Evaluation Division (E40) within the Gun and Electric Weapons Department.
Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Management or Technology is preferred.
Months/Years of Experience: Six (6) years experience
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Security Clearance Required. Hands-on, at least 50% involved in field work and integration. Willing to travel 20% of the time, including mission support on a vessel at sea--typical 4 weeks at a time. Team player, and track record of support complex projects. Experience dealing with concept design and engineering, and test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems.
Skills Needed: Programmatic and product development background. Data analysis. Task planning and scheduling. Strong radar systems background.
Duties: Responsibilities, include but are not limited to: radar system analysis and simulation, DoEs, data analysis, task planning and scheduling, supports the customer, interface between the involved development and deployment parties/partners, and interfacing with product vendors. Responsible for the scope and deliver of the product.
Desired Qualifications: Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred. Demonstrated Program/Project Management experience. Hardware integration experience.
