Education: Must possess a Bachelor's in Engineering in designated area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited* college/university.
Months/Years of Experience: Entry level
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Desired Qualifications: Zero (0) to two (2) years of aviation related experience. Zero (0) to four (4) years experience in aircraft/aircraft systems (e.g. flt control, displays, radar, comm/nav) test. Computer networking skills are highly desired along with basic competency with MS Office, Matlab and technical writing.
Duties: Incumbents will serve as a flight test engineer at the Aviation Flight test Directorate, US Army Redstone Test Center responsible for planning, execution, real-time safety-of-flight and data quality monitoring, data analysis, and reporting for developmental and/or operational tests of system integrations on the AH-64E helicopter and UAS testing. Incumbents will be focused on the AH-64E aircraft and UAS testing.
Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment.
