Education:.
BS Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Months/Years of Experience: Three (3) years experience dealing with the concept design and engineering, and test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems. Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Security Clearance Required
Desired Qualifications: The candidate should have a strong hands-on background in running instrumentation, troubleshooting, and be excited about field work. Design, development, and fabrication of hardware and software based instrumentation solutions, in support of field testing. Setup and execution of instrumentation support for tests onsite and offsite ranges. Knowledge and comfort conducting basic machining, and working with electronics. Travel less than 25% of time
Skills Needed: SolidWorks and MATLAB expertise is required. Knowledge and comfort conducting basic machining, and working with electronics.
Duties: Support ongoing instrumentation and data acquisition/analysis projects.
Travel less than 25% of time.
Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment.
