Engineer - Field Support (Dahlgren, VA)

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Potomac River Test Range (PRTR) contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's non-explosive open air and indoor test, evaluation, and experimentation for the Test and Evaluation Division (E40) within the Gun and Electric Weapons Department.
Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Management or Technology is preferred.
Months/Years of Experience: Three (3) years experience.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Security Clearance. Hands-on, at least 50% involved in field work and integration. Willing to travel, including mission support on a vessel at sea. Team player, and track record of support complex projects. Experience dealing with the concept design and engineering, and test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems.
Skills Needed: Product installation and support background. Data collection and analysis. Task planning and scheduling. Test instrumentation operation, troubleshooting and repair. Basic electronics, digital, AC and DC knowledge.
Duties: Responsible for the execution of DoEs. Deploys the solution in the field for testing or at sea to support a mission.
Desired Qualifications: Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred. Desire to work in a field environment. Self-motivated. Mission oriented.
