Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering in designated area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university.
Months/Years of Experience: None required; however, experience planning, executing, and reporting on developmental test and evaluation efforts are preferred.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship. A valid driver’s license. Must have or be able to acquire a security clearance.
Skills Needed: Position will require both laboratory bench and outdoor field work as well as manual lifting of up to 50lbs. Must be able to work as a team member in a collaborative effort, taking initiative at times when direction is implicit. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, TEAMS, OneNote) and well organized. Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary to effectively communicate with customer and management.
Duties: Effectively gather customer testing requirements for new test programs, then plan, execute, and report on programs. Manage program cost expenditures and monitor/manage program schedules to remain on time and budget. Develop test plans and safety documentation and participate in document peer reviews. Execute MIL-STD-461/464 testing alongside experienced technicians. Analyze test data for accuracy and completeness. Write reporting deliverables for customers.
Desired Qualifications: Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience planning, executing, and reporting on developmental test and evaluation efforts would be beneficial, but not required. Experience or familiarity with electromagnetic environmental effects principles is desired. Electrical Engineering Major preferred.
