Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Months/Years of Experience: One (1) year of applicable experience in engineering technical work that developed skills in making measurements using test instruments and computing.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Due to international travel, COVID-19 and other vaccinations are required. Ability to follow detailed operating procedures. Manual lifting is required. Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to operate a forklift and a medium duty truck required (CDL not required).
Skills Needed: Proficient with software tools such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Duties: Technicians’ work duties are to support missile surveillance test program. Required to travel within and outside the United States for extended temporary duty assignments up to a total of six months per year. Assist senior technicians and engineers in duties related to missile test setup and tear down, explosive handling and storage, and other various test support duties.
Desired Qualifications: Military experience or Associate Degree in engineering technology desired. AMMO certification desired.
