Months/Years of Experience: One (1) year of applicable experience in engineering technical work that developed skills in making measurements using test instruments and computing.
Required Qualifications: U. S. Citizenship. A valid driver’s license. Must have or be able to acquire a security clearance.
Skills Needed: Position will require both laboratory bench and outdoor field work as well as manual lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work as a team member in a collaborative effort, taking initiative at times when direction is implicit. Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook desired.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Duties: Performing engineering technician tasks in support of aviation test programs. Supporting the testing of military assets using established methods and procedures. Performing mechanical modifications to various military assets. Preparation of test items including manual lifting/unpacking/packing of hardware. Performing work in a laboratory and outdoor setting. Capturing and documenting data using manual and IT formats from tests and test assets. Working with other testing labs in the organization through cross-functional training activities.
