a. Aerospace - Experience must include performing engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft; conducting basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture; and performing engineering, analysis, and related functions in research, development, test and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems.
Required Qualifications: U. S. Citizenship. A valid driver’s license. Able to obtain a Security Clearance.
Duties: Responsibilities will include collecting various evidence of material properties by performing various material characterization tasks including metallographic evaluations to determine microstructure, verification and determination of alloy composition, and using various elemental analysis tools. The candidate will be responsible for supporting a variety of tests using established methods and procedures.
Desired Qualifications: Extensive experience.

Education: Refer to Months/Years of Experience
Months/Years of Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in the designated technical area of specialization from an accredited* university and nine (9) years of combined engineering and technical experience, including six (6) years of project experience; or a Master's Degree in the designated technical area of specialization from an accredited* university and seven (7) years of combined engineering and technical experience, including four (4) years of project experience, performing engineering, analysis, and related functions in research, development, test and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems. Areas of specialization may include electromagnetics, electro-optics, optical sciences, electronic circuits, modeling and simulation, infrared scene projection, structural analysis, radar systems, high voltage systems, mechanical systems, data acquisition, stockpile testing, HWIL, HPC, or IR scene generation. Additional specialization requirements: a.
