AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Potomac River Test Range (PRTR) contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's non-explosive open air and indoor test, evaluation, and experimentation for the Test and Evaluation Division (E40) within the Gun and Electric Weapons Department.
Education: BS degree in engineering with ME focus preferred.
Months/Years of Experience: Experience dealing with the concept design and engineering, and test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Security Clearance Required. Proficient in creating and reading mechanical drawings. Hands-on, at least 50% involved in field work and integration. Willing to travel 20% of the time, including mission support on a vessel at sea--typical 4 weeks at a time. Team player, and track record of support complex projects.
Desired Qualifications: Master's level Degree in any Engineering discipline. Navy and / or Marine Corps related experience is preferred. Experience with opto-mechanical design. Finite element and multi-physics analysis (including stress and thermal drift analysis).
