Does this describe you?

  • At least one year related driving experience in the last 3 years (driving a 16 - 20 ft. box truck or larger)
  • U.S-issued driver license in good standing
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical card & pass drug and alcohol test (company pays for exam & test)
  • At least 21 years old
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds up to 200 times per day
  • Ability to get in and out of truck up to 200 times per day
  • Reliable attendance for weekday work schedule that starts at 4 am and finishes between 12 pm and 3 pm 
  • Access to transportation for commute to 7800 Penn Western Court, Upper Marlboro, MD (public transportation not available at 6 am)
  • Willingness to safely handle food scraps
  • U.S. employment authorization

We were founded with the objective of rescuing unwanted food scraps from the landfill, helping to retain valuable nutrients by converting the food scraps into a rich soil amendment – compost.  The company has grown to serve thousands of homes, businesses, communities and governments throughout Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, and composted tens of millions of pounds of organic material.  In our region, we’re the industry leader. This year, we’ll save almost 20 million pounds of food scraps from going into landfills and we’ll serve over 10,000 customers in diversified commercial, residential and municipal sectors.
