Consolidated Precision Products has an immediate need for an experienced Boroscope Operator to join our 2nd shift team. This position reports to the Cut, Clean & Grind Manufacturing Manager at our Eastlake, OH facility.
The Boroscope Operator is a critical position in assuring the aerospace parts are precisely made. Experience is preferred; we will train. While training, the employee will work from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
- Read and use and read Work Instructions and PEIs for Boroscope and for Light Check.
- Inspect all rough castings for obvious defects.
- Use pin gages to assess defects.
- Document in Oracle.
- Use Vibropeen to heat numbers on casting for identification.
- Use light check cored castings to ensure core passages are free of core material.
- Document in Oracle.
- Read and document travelers.
- Maintain Vibropeen.
- Maintain Boroscope and Light Source.
- Clean and maintain work area.
