Technician will be required to:
  • Process hardware through dye penetrant process per applicable customer requirements and/or specifications
  • Follow written process procedures under the direction and guidance of the Level II or Level III technician

  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Must meet the qualification requirements and mandated test requirements for certification in penetrant inspection methods when applying for position beyond Entry-level.
    High school diploma or equivalent preferred – but not required.
    Must be able to communicate in English – desired.

    Stand; frequently required to walk and use both hands to handle parts; reach with both arms and hands; talk and hear. The employee will be required to lift objects up to 40 pounds.  Close vision is required.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to oil dye and solvents.  The noise and temperature levels are usually moderate. 
    Employee must follow department safety guidelines and general foundry safety rules.  Safety regulations are posted in the department and throughout the foundry.
