Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) has an immediate opening for a qualified Tool Inventory Coordinator.  Individual is responsible for maintaining company Tooling Database up-to-date.  In addition, coordinate all in-coming tooling activities.  Employee will work under the direction of our Quality Manager.  Interested candidates should apply at
  • Coordinate all in-coming tooling activities
  • Perform visual inspection of tooling and report findings
  • Assign tool storage locations
  • Prepare tooling and assist customer during on-site inspections/audits
  • Retrieval of tooling for all customer return requests
  • Perform annual assessments of storage locations
  • Responsible for the release and storage of tooling as required to fulfill production demands
  • Plan the day-to-day operations of tooling control
  • Focal point of contact in maintaining the company Tooling Database up to date.
  • Physically move and deliver the tools to the requesting department.
  • Calibrate the tools using height gage and caliper as needed.
  • Will perform physical inventory of tools as requested internally and externally.
  • Will fill out necessary documentations such as Tool Transfer and Receiving Inspection forms.
  • Electronically receives tooling purchase orders in company’s ERP system.
  • Retrieves tools and other quality records from the warehouse as requested.
Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
  • Interpret, follow and complete customer’s tooling inventory documents
  • Interpret customer-specific tooling requirements
  • Capable of driving small trucks as required
  • Ability to use basic measuring and inspection tools
  • Basic pictorial drawing interpretation/understanding, preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred
    High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
    Experience inventory control, preferred

    Employee must follow safety guidelines and general site safety rules.  Safety regulations are posted in designated areas throughout the facility.
