Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for experienced manual machinist throughout our facility on 1st shift to join our aerospace team! These roles report to a the Operations Supervisor at our foundry in City of Industry.

Job Summary:
Set up/operate conventional mills, lathes and drill presses. Responsible for following shop instructions and running and monitoring production runs following from Metal Lab. Carry out basic measurements on using hand tools as required.  

Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform typical machine shop operations. 

  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee. 

  • Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results). 

  • Complete and maintain paperwork for parts. 

  • Experience in micrometers, inside micrometers, calipers, and other tool shop an inspections equipment.  

  • Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development 

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area 

  • Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures 

  • Ability to work overtime 

  • Attendance 

  • Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management 


Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, Vocational School in a similar field 

  • Experience: 3 years of experience in conventional milling, lathe and drill press, belt sand machine.  

  • Certifications/Licenses: Machine Tool Training Vocational certification preferred.  

  • Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: N/A
