JOB SUMMARY

The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with our customer base on new and existing order inquiries and order status and working with internal functions to assist in coordinating product flow and shipments.

  • Resolves customer requests, questions, and complaints, frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine the best use of resources.
  • Serves as liaison between the customer and various departments
  • • Solicits sales of new or additional services.
  • Operates office equipment, including computers and terminals, as necessary.
  • Provides pricing and delivery information, processes orders, and prepares cash reports.
  • • Sets up new accounts, maintains records, prepares reports, and performs work processing assignments and related clerical duties.

  • Experience: 4+ years of previous experience in data entry,
  • Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), ability to work with others through complex situations

WORKING CONDITIONS
 
  • Working Environment:   Indoor working environment within various areas of a foundry facility/Office environment; this includes frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and heat. The noise level in the work equipment is required and must be worn at all times while performing the duties of this job and while in marked designated areas.
  • Physical Demands:  Sitting/standing, using a computer screen, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods, walking.
  • Travel Requirements: None
  • Required PPE:  PPE varies throughout the plant; check with the area Supervisor to ensure proper PPE is used.
  • Safety Glasses:    Needed in all areas of the plant.
  • Steel toe shoes:  Needed in all areas of the plant
