CPP- Industry- Foundry Worker - 1st & 2nd Shift (City of Industry, CA)

Job Summary:
Will Pour molten Steel into Water based slurry (Silicone) molds.
General labor includes lifting placing molds in ovens, retrieving molds from ovens, and pouring of molten steel metal into molds.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:
•   Able to monitor and control pouring ladles or furnaces.

•   Able to monitor and controls box ovens.

•   Able to load shells into box ovens for preheat or burn-out.

•   Able to load and control pouring of vacuum melters.

•   Able to load aluminum or steel ingots into melters for pouring.

•   Ability to cooperate and work effectively with others.

•   Ability to regularly appear for work.

Qualifications:
•   Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
•   Experience: 0 to3 years

Working Condition:

Working Environment: Associate works in an extreme hot area where hot aluminum or steel is being melted and poured. Work is performed around hot furnaces and ovens in a well-lighted ventilated area.

Equipment Used:
•   Use melting pots / furnaces or pouring ladles.
•   Controls the operation of box ovens, melting pots and use small hand tools.
•   Dewaxer

•   Lifting and carrying of molds
•   Lifting and carrying of Metal pots.
•   Lifting and carrying of Ladles
