JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst & Accountant is responsible for preparing various financial statements & reports and completing forecasting models for both the site and Corporate Headquarters. This role is a unique opportunity to work closely with all tiers of the business and allows for growth in the accounting field.

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst & Accountant is responsible for preparing various financial statements & reports and completing forecasting models for both the site and Corporate Headquarters. This role is a unique opportunity to work closely with all tiers of the business and allows for growth in the accounting field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare month-end journal entries and participate in closing activities.
- Prepare and update the site’s weekly KPI & cash forecast for weekly calls with the Corporate Headquarters.
- Work with the Controller to prepare and upload rolling forecasts within the external reporting system, Vizion
- Prepare several daily reports for distribution to both the management and the operation teams
- Assist in completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in costing and breakeven analysis for new program lines
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis when requested by the Controller
- Work with purchasing and with Poly6 vendors to resolve account issues and questions, and drive ACH setup with vendors
- Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices, and procedures
- Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Controller
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, an Associate Degree in either discipline with 2+ years of experience
- Excellent PC & Excel skills with an understanding of ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls and procedures.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and with external customer
- Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities; time management skills are essential.
- Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attendance is critical, must be able to work at the Burlington facility.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with cost accounting & inventory controls.
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
