The Quality Tech/ Analyst is a key support role responsible for; supporting the engineering staff with data maintenance, process improvements, corrective actions, and audit support.


Major Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Quality Engineers by contributing to the development of verification & validation plans, testing, corrective actions follow ups, root cause analysis and generation of test reports
  • Assisting in the compilation and review of technical documentation for both domestic and international regulatory submissions
  • Assisting Engineering staff in dimensional analysis, cause-and-effect investigations, basic research, gage design, gage studies, statistical analysis.
  • Prepare work instructions for shop.
  • Database development and subsequent system controls
  • Modify process procedures
  • Review specifications
  • Independently lead audits and systems projects
  • Assisting the Quality Engineers by facilitating and performing internal QA audits as required
  • Organize and maintain data storage
  • Aerospace First Article Inspection per AS9102
  • Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to work overtime

  • Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
  • Must have some Internal Audit experience
EDUCATION
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Advanced education preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 year in an aerospace manufacturing environment and quality.
  • Certifications/Licenses: DQR, GD&T, AS9100 Internal Auditor, AS9102
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Minimum of high school level calculus. Introductory course in statistics preferred. Proficiency in MS office applications, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.


This is an hourly position, salary range is between: $20.00 to $30.00 an hour.
