Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for Saw Operators to join our Cudahy team! They will be reporting to our Operations Supervisor at our Cudahy aerospace foundry.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Adjusts height of saw guide, waxes blade, etc., to prepare for each job assignment.
- Places castings on table, using overhead hoist as required, and removes castings and places in bin upon completion of sawing operation.
- Manually guides castings through band saw blade to remove gates, risers, flashes and surface roughness, etc.
- Inspects all finished castings and performs simple rework as required.
- Performs routine maintenance on machine and contacts the Maintenance Department for major repairs and problems.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
- Ability to work overtime
- Attendance
- Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
- Demonstrate care and operation of each cut off method.
- Use all safety precautions given and explained.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Experience: At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

- Working Environment: Shop floor, within various areas of a foundry facility
- Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in
- Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
- Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
