St. Vincent de Paul, Fort Wayne - Technology Support Staff (Fort Wayne, IN)
St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Fort Wayne is looking for a full time Technology / IT Systems Support Staff Member. This IT and Technology support role will begin on July 1, 2024 and will report to our Technology Director and Administration, and be responsible for integrating the mission of St. Vincent’s and the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend in all duties, for the betterment of our staff and students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understands, believes in, and communicates joyfully about the St. Vincent’s mission in all
endeavors.
- Reports to Director of Technology and School Administration to implement vision and
goals for technology use, safety, and academic growth
- Provides technology integration support for parish staff, individual teachers, grade level
teams, and school Faculty as a whole.
- Provides support for parish staff and teachers and offers support, training, and
troubleshooting for daily operations
- Builds awareness and generates enthusiasm for technology resources.
- Assists in assessing and tracking technology skill levels of students and staff; uses this
data to support the professional growth of staff.
- Stays abreast of current technology trends, teaching strategies, and educational best
practices.
- Assesses and provides input for technology resource purchases based on parish and
school staff input.
Qualifications:
- Experience in appropriate field
- Positive references and recommendations
- Supportive of authentic witness to our Roman Catholic Faith
- Strong understanding of technology integration and quality instruction
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Understands the use of technology as a source for interventions; ability to problem solve
- Experience with a range of technology systems – i.e. windows and Mac computers, iPads,
cloud systems, printers, document cameras, SmartBoards, interactive displays and other
devices
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and patient
