We have an excellent opportunity for a Embedded Computing Architect to join our team in Fremont, California (remote). Our ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with meeting or exceeding the annual sales target by presenting and promoting board-level and integrated systems/solutions to customers. Identify and address all key factors associated with the purchasing decision (i.e. price, delivery, quality, technical solution, etc.) and work to resolve this in ELMA’s favor. Also, provide pre-and post-sale customer service and support. Support representative network as applicable and provide feedback to management of market and competitive trends.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting with new account development and expanding existing accounts.
  • Help to meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information and assist customers to determine proper product that meet requirements and application.
  • Coordinate internal resources (Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing) and submit technical and price proposals to the customer.
  • Follow up on leads and quotes.
  • Provide technical and price support to the territory Representatives.
  • Support and attend Trade Shows on an as needed basis.
  • Provide feedback to general management on market and competitive developments.
  • Assist in the training of Representatives.
  • Special sales projects as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals outlined.
  • Interacts with co-workers according to established policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting of objectives.
  • Administers company policies that directly affect co-workers and customers.
  • Recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies.

 

Education/Experience:

  • BS or equivalent work experience
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated technical sales experience
