LPN - Physician Services - Fulltime (Franklin, LA)
Cares for and treats patients in medical office, as directed by Physician, by performing the following duties:

- Prepares patient for and assists with examinations.
- Weighs patients and takes temperatures and blood pressures.
- Administers injections and medications, dresses wounds and incisions, interprets Physician’s instructions to patients, assists with emergency and minor surgery, and performs related tasks as directed.
- Makes referral appointments as necessary.
- Cleans rooms after each patient.
- Maintains records of vital statistics and other pertinent data of patients.
- Reviews clerical records to insure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment, and maintains stock of supplies.
- Conducts specified laboratory tests.
- Does daily controls on U/A and refrigerator temps.
- Logs for CLIA.
- Adheres to OSHA standards.
- Completes call backs on patients if the Physician is otherwise occupied.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
- Required Courses(s)/Training: Completion of program for licensed vocational nursing, approved by the state of Louisiana
- Required Certification/Registration Current LPN license; CPR certification
- Preferred Experience of 1 year of prior office experience
