Medical Technologist/Technician Fulltime Nights (Franklin, LA)
The Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician position is responsible for Phlebotomy, processing specimen samples in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis and Serology, analyzing various laboratory tests, reporting results, maintaining analyzers in various departments, quality control, and proper logging and documentation. The successful incumbent must have an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least 4 years’ experience (preferably night shift) or a Bachelor degree in Medical Technology with at least 2 years Lab experience.
Must be currently licensed in the State of Louisiana and hold a certification from ASCP for MT/MLT or AAB, MT.
**This is a night position 7 on and 7 off 6pm-6:30am**
