The Gemini 3 Group is seeking an Ammunitions Supply Specialist to support a valued United States Marine Corps (USMC) client. The Ammunitions Supply Specialist will perform stock control and accounting procedures for ammunition, explosives, and associated explosive support.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform ammunition supply stock control and accounting duties using both automated and manual procedures.
  • Maintain hardware and software systems, and the manual records required to successfully perform stock control and accounting procedures for ammunition and explosives.
  • Participate in Ammunition Logistics Focus Team (ALFT) process improvement meetings.
  • Perform ammunition cataloging in support of ammunition safety, in conjunction with the Cataloging Manager, Navy Labs, Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity.
  • Maintain a continuous Accountable Property Supply Record (APSR) to Total Item Property Record (TIPR) reconciliations of Army and Navy-held Marine Corps conventional ground ammunition (CGA).
  • Perform maintenance of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) data, including information exchange, coding, and reconciliation.
  • Perform quarterly reconciliations of the books.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
  •  Must be a critical thinker and problem solver.
  •  Must be detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage priorities to meet  deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in written and oral communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience working in ammunition inventory control and accountability is required.
  • Experience in USMC ammunitions logistics is preferred.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing Letters of Explanation (LOEs), responses to Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), Industrial Base and Market Assessment documentation is preferred.
  • Experience in Ammunition Safety Data and Technical Data Packages to include Navy Energetic Qualification and Final (Type Qualifications), Hazard Classifications, Shipboard Shock Certifications, and other safety analyses for program activities and fielding decisions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Training Ammunition Management Information System Redesigned (TAMIS-R), including inventory analysis, drafting and releasing messages, and providing TAMIS-R helpdesk support is preferred.  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
