Heart of Texas Region MHMR Center- Caseworker I or II Job Developer Specialist 1916 (Waco, TX)

Under the direction and supervision of the Heart of Texas Substance Abuse Director, the Job Developer will provide supportive employment services to individuals with diagnosed Opioid Use Disorder and/or Substance Use Disorder to obtain job placement opportunities by completing possible intakes, engagement, assessments, job coaching, and job placement along with providing supports for individuals who are seeking employment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions

Excellent written communication and basic computer knowledge for inputting clinical documentation
Excellent verbal communication with consumers, staff, and community providers
Time management required to meet service goals
Local travel 80% and Regional travel 20% to consumer homes and other community settings
Lift up to 30 lbs
Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods
Ability to be CPR and SAMA certified
Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required

Education and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's in social work, psychology or related field with ability to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional credentialing
LCDC or LCDC-I (Level III or higher) Preferred
experience working with clients who have mental illness and/or involvement in legal system preferred

Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM with other as needed

Salary: $30,000-$36,172 Annually DOQ
