Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network- Billing Technician I 2078/620 (Waco, TX)

The Billing Technician works with insurance companies and other billing staff to ensure that client services are accurately billed for.

Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions

Excellent written communication and proof-reading skills
Effective verbal communication and telephone skills
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must display excellent organizational skills and time management
Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, keyboarding for prolonged periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED
Experience in billing or contract services or medical coding is preferred

Hours: 8AM-5PM M-F

Salary: $ 30,888 annually
