Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) (Waco, TX)

Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network (HOTBHN) is seeking a dedicated RBT/BT who works directly with clients, families, and the community to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.  This person will provide services for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis to develop communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills to make a positive impact in their lives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervisors to implement treatment plan goals through direct work with clients.
  • Provide ABA services to children and adolescents in the clinic, home, or community setting.
  • Follow all training and ethical requirements from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Collect and record client data via HOTBHN policies and procedures.
  • Review and implement behavior intervention plans and instructional materials as developed by BCBA.
  • Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.
  • Passion for working with children and adolescents.
  • Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain / improve performance accordingly.
  • Provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment for clients and families.
  • Stooping, Bending, Sitting, and standing for prolonged periods, lifting to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to be CPR and PMAB certified through onboarding training.
  • Ability to travel to client’s home to provide services.
  • Time management is required to meet service goals.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills to communicate with clients, families, staff, and community providers.

Education, Experience, and Requirements:
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Reliable Transportation
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: RBT Certification, bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field, 1 year experience working with children with disabilities
Hours:
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Times may vary depending on client availability.
Compensation:
  • $19.00 Hourly/$39,520 Annual with RBT Certification
Location:
  • 6400 Imperial Drive, Waco TX
  • Client’s Individual Home (If applicable)
