Heart of Texas Behavioral Heath Network (Previously known as Heart if Texas MHMR)- Counselor-LPC 289 (Waco, TX)

Licensed caseworkers at the Veterans One Stop provide therapeutic services to service members, veterans and family members. Responsible to meet program goals and outcome measures. Records maintenance and scheduling required. Works directly with veteran service agencies, criminal justice system, VA, crisis centers and substance abuse treatment centers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions

Excellent written communication and basic computer skills
Excellent verbal communication with clients, staff, and community partners
Time management required to meet service goals
Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, keyboarding for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Ability to be CPR and PMAB certified
Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required. 30% regional travel and 5% local travel.

Education and Experience

Master's degree in a human service field Required
LPC, LCSW, LMFT full licensure Required
2 years of case management experience preferred
Military cultural and demonstrated Military competency Preferred
LCDC OR LCDC-I with other clinical license Preferred

Hours: M-F 8A-5P

Salary: $64,000 Annual
