Serves as a clinical assistant at the Behavior Justice Center ensuring all office transactions are executed according to current Center policies and procedures.

Examples of Worked Performed:

  • Answering phone calls and directing calls appropriately.
  • Complete financial assessments on clients.
  • Monitor client payer status for changes.
  • Prepare expense reports per accounting procedures.
  • Coordinates referrals and case management
  • Perform basic office support and organization for staff.
  • Assist with filing, faxing, copying, records requests etc. as requested.
  • Maintain monthly data reporting for grants and Jail Diversion team.
  • Maintain filing in client charts as requested by staff.
  • Complete local and out of region travel as requested.
  • Coordinates information for COC purposes with local jails via booking reports, MBOW, CCQs
  • Secure and deliver medications for SB 292 clients as needed.
  • Other office related support tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of administrative and clerical experience is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions:
 
  • Requires knowledge of generally accepted office practices.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal and telephone skills.
  • Ability to enhance a professional working relationship with organizations as well as Center staff.
  • Must be able to meet the essential requirement of regular dependable attendance.
  • Must display excellent organizational skills and time management.
  • Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner while keeping customer service a priority.
  • Must be able to travel Locally 90% and Regionally 10%.
  • Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
 

Hours: 8AM-5PM M-F

Salary: $31,200 annually/$15.00 hourly
