Under the general supervision of the Program Manager for TCOOMMI, a Caseworker II performs assigned human service activities in the community mental health center and the community at large.

Experience and Training:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work, sociology, psychology, education, the humanities, or a behavioral science.
  • Must be able to maintain QMHP Credentialing for continued employment.
  • One year of case management experience preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • General knowledge of mental illness and emotional components, rehabilitation methods, basic principles of casework, and knowledge of general community welfare resources.
  • Ability to conduct interviews and report results of the interviews.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with Community Supervision, Corrections Department and other professional groups, to exercise tact, initiative, and good judgment when dealing with people.
  • Ability to prepare reports and recommendations for administrative use.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats of communication.       
  • Must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties.
  • Must be able to successfully participate, perform, and complete the skills required for CPR, First Aid, and PMAB.
  • Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and excellent organization skills.
  • Must have excellent clinical documentation skills.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with variations

Salary: $45,000-$52,965 Depending on Experience.
