Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network (Previously known as Heart of Texas MHMR)- QMHP-CS I/II (Case Worker) LEAD Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX)

Under the supervision of the AMH Regional Supervisor and AMH Lead Case Manager, this case worker performs assigned human service activities in the community mental health center and community at large of Hill County. Specifically, this worker provides recovery-oriented case management services to adult mental health consumers and complies with company, state and federal regulations and requirements.

Experience:
Must be able to obtain and maintain credentialing as a Qualified Mental Health Professional through training and competency evaluations for employment in this position.
1 year case management experience preferred. 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in Mental Healthcare inpatient and outpatient services; medical/chart documentation preferred.

Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service-related field (e.g. social work, education, counseling, gerontology, psychology or sociology). Service or related field required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

General knowledge of mental illness, rehabilitative skills training methods and knowledge of community resources.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other professional groups, businesses, employment agencies, etc.
Ability to assess, diagnose, and have treatment planning skills.
Must have excellent time management and organization/filing skills.
Must have excellent clinical documentation skills.
Ability to transport clients locally 25% regionally 25%
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats of communication.
Ability to meet grant/contract timeframes and obligations and to organize and prioritize work related tasks.
Must have excellent computer skills; Word/Excel, Microsoft applications, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to administer medication.
Ability to learn about and implement trauma-informed care practices within the scope of work for the position.
Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
Must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties and ability to maintain regular attendance as set forth in center policies and procedures.
Must be able to successfully participate, perform and complete skills required for CPR, First Aid and PMAB certification.

SUPERVISORY CONTROL:
Directly responsible to the AMH Program Supervisor and AMH Hill County Lead or designee for carrying out job duties.

Salary: $45,000-$52,965 Depending on Education & Experience
Lead stipend $2,500 plus Regional stipend $5,000
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
