 What You Will Do:
As a quality engineer, you will lead without authority, influencing teams to achieve goals.  You will bring your passion for quality, knowing that anything worth doing is worth doing right!  You will use data to take action and solve problems, and work to understand our business as a whole.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve quality performance
  • Make sure that materials, equipment, processes and products meet our strict quality specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers to develop and implement controls and improvements
  • Guarantee that processes and products comply with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate root cause to permanently resolve product and production issues
  • Develop and implement robust corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
  • Communicate with our customers to resolve issues and drive improvements
  • Represent Quality in early-phase new product introduction projects

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in a highly regulated industry preferred 
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and program
  • Experience with control of Nonconforming Material (MRB)and First Articles (FAI)
  • Experience with initiating and leading corrective and preventative actions. Including proper selection and application of techniques such as Operational Excellence Tools (8D, 5 Why, Fish Bone, DMAIC) to obtain effective solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require trade-offs and negotiation
  • Ability to think independently, objectively, and with an open mind
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Working knowledge of statistics as it applies to test (Gage R&R, DOE, etc.)
  • Experience using a failure / root cause / corrective action process (5why, RCA, CAPA or 8D).
  • Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint
Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is  $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
