 What You Will Do:

As a Financial Analyst, you will be a major contributor to our finance and accounting team. You'll develop cost estimates and revenue forecasts and create sophisticated models and business reports that add value to all areas of our business.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • In charge of building business model for proposals and new business:
    • Create models to simulate and optimize business scenarios and help the team make good business decisions.
    • Collaborate with engineering and purchasing departments to develop cost estimates for proposals.
    • Recommend price strategy for proposals.
    • Help with new business screenings and support the proposal owner with business cases.
  • Create and analyze sales, bookings, and pricing reports.
  • Support business unit managers and senior leadership with the interpretation of financial results.
  • Support Engineering team in tracking and reporting of NRE, Sustaining, and R&D project performance.
  • Improve and sustain analytical tools that help in decision making.
  • In charge core vendor and customer data management 
  • Help streamline and digitalize the finance department.
  • Perform special projects and assist with other department functions as required.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field OR equivalent experience. 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize work with minimal management oversight.
  • A strong work ethic and lots of energy, the ability to think critically and to solve problems.
  • Strong understanding of ERP in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and TINA (Truth in Negotiations) is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of Syteline ERP and business intelligence tools such as Vena is a plus but not required.
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the analytical skills to extract and interpret data.
  • Tremendous organizational skills.
Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is $92,000- $154,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
